Manager: Digital Library Services
Cape Town, Western Cape
I manage the Digital Library Services (DLS) department at the Libraries of the University of Cape Town (UCT). My work entails a wide variety of strategic and operational activities around research data management, digitisation and data curation for preservation and access, as well as GIS and digital scholarship/humanities services. The department operates a host of different platforms, for data management planning, as well as for creating, sharing, curating, publishing, describing, linking and preserving the research data and digital collections created at the University of Cape Town.
