Alejandro Suarez

Alejandro is an Associate Program Director supporting large cooperative agreements within the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC) at the National Science Foundation (NSF). He is a computational physicist by training with a background in surface science and the chemical modification of graphene. Dr. Suarez hold a B.S. in Applied Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), and a Ph.D. in Physics from Penn State University. Alejandro has also served as an NRC postdoctoral associate with the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory and a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at NSF.
